OSTS is Celebrating 25 Years of Service!

Orthopedic and Sport Therapy Services started out under a single physical therapist in Portsmouth NH back in 1986. It moved through several locations including Lafayette Professional Park and then Griffin Park. Ownership became a partnership with other therapists as the years went by. Expansion took place into Somersworth and Rochester.
We served several communities along the seacoast and businesses such as General Electric, Prime Tanning, and Hussey Seating. We helped improve the quality of life for individuals and rehabilitate injured workers. The practice has evolved to accommodate the needs of its patients and community by sponsoring local youth sports teams such as Dover Baseball, Somersworth Hockey and Rochester Girls Softball.
We now have 2 locations in Somersworth and Rochester with several experienced and highly trained therapists who offer care in a variety of specialties. These include spinal care, sports injuries, and work injuries to name only a few. Other specialties are listed elsewhere throughout the site.
We use state of the art weight stack/pulley systems designed to offer specific resistance necessary to rehabilitate the injured body part. We also use a full array of cardiovascular equipment and several other systems necessary to simulate work and sport activities.
We do not use Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA’s) so every patient sees the actual therapist each visit. Our referrals come from doctors that value our skills and dedication to provide the best possible care available as well as from other patients, family members and friends who have experienced it themselves. Because of this, we are still here, after 25 years, being independently owned and operated by physical therapists.
